Electric Power Steering (EPS) acts as the core steering actuator for intelligent passenger vehicles and new energy vehicles, which fundamentally shapes steering tactility, overall driving safety and control precision of autonomous driving systems. As a specialized supplier of intelligent chassis non-standard automated production solutions, HOLS independently develops fully automatic EPS assembly and testing production lines to support flexible multi-platform manufacturing, compatible with Column EPS, Rack EPS, Dual-Motor EPS and Rear-Wheel Steer EPS, as well as SBW steer-by-wire assembly workflows including DP-EPS, CEPS and REPS.
This one-stop turnkey production line integrates full sets of chassis manufacturing processes: precision mechanical assembly, electronic component press-fitting, ball screw installation, steering wheel actuator fitting, torque & steering angle calibration, full EOL comprehensive performance testing, and complete full-process data traceability. The whole line strictly complies with IATF 16949 automotive mass production specifications, and has mature mass delivery track records serving global Tier 1 steering system manufacturers.
The production line supports full-process manufacturing of all core steering parts, covering steering column, steering rack & pinion, steering tie rod, ball joint, steering intermediate shaft and steering knuckle. Optional auxiliary stations can be configured on demand, including laser welding, electromagnetic force retesting, air gap adjustment and helium leak testing for steering components to conduct air tightness inspection of steering housings and pipelines. It realizes closed-loop intelligent manufacturing for the entire steer-by-wire and EPS steering system assembly cycle.
